Anushka Shetty Has No Time For New Films

Actress Anushka Shetty is unlikely to sign any new film in the near future as she is extremely busy shooting for Telugu period movie Rudhramadevi and Tamil-Telugu bilingual Baahubali , said a source close to her. She is simultaneously filming for both films, which are expected to release next year.

A source close to Anushka told IANS, "She has been extremely busy with both the projects. Since both are very important projects, she is giving it as much time as possible. I don't think she will sign any new film at least for the next six months because she really doesn't have the time for a new project,"

The source added, "Since Baahubali happens to be a bilingual and was started afterRudhramadevi went on floors, much of her time is being invested in the former. She also spent lot of time training in horse riding and sword fighting for these films," he added.

Anushka is also awaiting the release of Tamil film Irandam Ulagam, for which she completed shooting earlier this year. In fact, Anushka hasn't signed any new film since the beginning of 2013 because she has been occupied with the her prior commitments. She has had three releases so far this year - Alex Pandian, Mirchi and Singam 2.

Songs are the part and parcel of Telugu films. Along with good music, the picturisation of a song also matters a lot for its success in Tollywood. Especially, the shooting location plays a predominant role in making a track look grand on screen. Tollywood filmmakers, who are known for shooting their songs in foreign locales, often tend to shoot at least one soundtrack on a beautiful beach for their movies.

These beach songs will usually be romantic tracks featuring scantly-clad heroes and heroines taking a dip in a sea and expressing their passionate feelings for each other. They are meant to showcase the glamour quotient of heroines, who are made to wear a two-piece bikini or swimsuit to show their oomph factor and curvy body.

In the past, many actresses have rejected several big projects as they did not want to feature in such scenes. But there are some Telugu actresses, who have always dared to bare for songs. Anushka Shetty, Kajal Aggarwal, Taapsee Pannu, Nayantara, Ileana D'Cruz, Trisha Krishnan, Tamanna Bhatia, Priyamani, Shriya Saran, Sanjjanna, Hamsa Nandi and a few other actresses have featured in beach songs and impressed the film goers with their glamour.
