SS Rajamouli's Baahubali Exhausting Rana Daggubati!

Actor Rana Daggubati is relieved at having successfully completed a marathon schedule for upcoming Telugu period-drama Baahubali. He says on certain days, the team even shot nonstop for over 24 hours. 

"(I) finished my marathon second schedule of Baahubali. Day starting from 7 am (to) all the way to 10 pm and the training till midnight," posted Rana on his Twitter page.

 "And the one special weekend where we shot from Sunday morning 7 (to) all the way to Monday morning 8. An epic shoot little over 24 hours," he added. 

He says it's because of this hectic schedule that he has not been active on Twitter. 

Directed by SS Rajamouli, Baahubali also features Prabhas Varma, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, Nassar, Adivi Sesh and Kiccha Sudeep. 

The film, co-produced by Shobu Yarlagadda, K Raghavendra Rao and Prasad Devineni, is being simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil. 

Let's hope their hard work and effort gets payed back at the Box Office too.

Sunny Leone To Join Mallika Sherawat On TV Show Bachelorette India

Mallika Sherawat and Sunny Leone will be uniting for the first time on-screen for an upcoming TV reality show - 'The Bachelorette India - Mere Khayalon ki Mallika'. Mallika has already started shooting for her much awaited series, which is the Indian version of American competitive reality dating game show 'The Bachelor'. 

The actress will soon have a friend and confidante in Indo-Canadian adult film star Sunny Leone, who will help her choose the best. Sunny is headed to Udaipur to help Mallika choose the right man from the 30 contestants, vying for her attention.

Previously, Rahul mahajan, Rakhi Sawant and Ratan Rajput were seen hunting for their respective partners on the reality show Swayamvar. Of the three Rahul was the lucky one to find his soulmate Dimpy on the show and they tied the knot on the show. Now Mallika with special help of Sunny Leone will find her better half on TV.

 Mallika is quite clear about the kind of guy she wants to date. "I'm looking for someone who is self-made, well educated, grounded and above all someone who can be a friend and not just a lover," Mallika said in a statement. "I prefer men who take risks in life, and especially the ones who are not afraid to speak their mind. I'm hoping that throughThe Bachelorette India, I find what I'm truly looking for - a friend and a soulmate," added the actor known for films like Murder and Pyaar Ke Side Effects. 

The show is produced by SOL Productions and has officially acquired the rights of the international reality series. Popular TV-film actor Rohit Roy will be the host for the show, which will be aired on Life OK.

Yazmin Khan Fuming; Not Appearing On Bigg Boss 7

New York-born and now Mumbai-based model and actress Yazmin Khan is livid. And she has every right to be so. First a prominent TV channel recently ran a news report on Bigg Boss 7 and mentioned her name as one of the probable participants, quoting reliable sources as saying that the leggy model has Salman Khan's "aashirwaad" for the popular reality show.

 Next, the news was picked up by the Online media which blasted the "gossip" all over the internet. Well who doesn't love some publicity, but Yazmin Khan says, "They first spelled my name wrongly. My name is not spelled as Yasmeen Khan, its Yazmin Khan. I am Yazmin with a 'Z'". Another prominent portal owned by the most popular English newspaper in the world, mixed up her photographs with that of an item girl who shares a similar name. "Till yesterday, nobody talked about me. Now I am being mixed up with item girls and even transvestites," lamented Yazmin Khan with tears in her eyes. 

It is learnt that Yazmin Khan fired her Indian manager Aloke Singh for leaking out the news. 

 It has been reported earlier that Salman Khan's "New York friend" model and Yasmeen Khan is likely to be in Bigg Boss 7. According to reliable sources, Yasmeen Khan who used to shuttle between New York, Mumbai and Delhi for modeling assignments has shifted base to Mumbai lock, stock and barrel with family and even purchased a flat in suburban Mumbai. 22-year-old Yasmeen who harbors acting dreams and wants to one day take up acting as a serious career option is also a "good friend" of Bollywood Badshah Salman Khan. The two have occasionally been in touch on SMS and mail and it is rumored that Salman Khan probably put in a good word for Yasmeen enabling her to get on India's most popular reality show. However, as expected the channel wouldn't confirm anything.

Salman's Bodyguard Beats Up A Young Woman?

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has reportedly been trapped in a fresh controversy, after a young woman accused the actor's bodyguard of beating her up. As per the reports, it all happened last night outside the Bandra police station, Mumbai, where the girl had come down along with her mother to lodge a complaint against Salman's bodyguard.

 As per our sources, the girl in concern has allegedly accused superstar Salman Khan and his bodyguard, who had supposedly hit her. Reports further say that the girl and her mother created drama outside the Bandra police station last night, claiming that " Salman Khan is a terrorist". 

Though the media wasn't allowed to interact much with the so-called victim, our sources claim that the girl and her mother have been making a scene for the last five days and trying to make people believe that she has been victimised by Salman's bodyguard. It is also said that this can be just a rumour and a publicity stunt by the girl. Reportedly, nothing has been confirmed as such from Salman's side.

Farhan Akhtar's Solution To Reduce Rape Cases

Bollywood's talented actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar talks about a solution that may help reduce the number of rape cases in India. After the recent incident of the rape of a photo journalist, many celebs have been speaking about the Unsafe Mumbai.

 Earlier this year, Farhan Akhtar launched campaign called Men Against Rape and Discrimination (MARD) and he now believes that the concept of fast-track courts must live up to its name. The courts seem to be taking their own sweet time and this is of no help, thereby Farhan thinks that granting speedy justice to victims of rape is the basic task of the fast-track courts. 

The actor feels this change will make a huge difference in the crime against women. "I feel that the fact that cases can go on for so long, emboldens people. I feel the concept of fast-track courts, which really hasn't come into effect the way we hoped it would. If that can happen, it will probably make a serious difference," said Farhan Akhtar. 

The actor made these statements in reaction to the recent rape case in Mumbai. "Right now the rate of conviction is very low and that is because of the process of judiciary moving really slow," the 39-year-old said. 

"I think a certain degree of fear factor in the mind of somebody who is a potential offender is important. There has to be respect for law, there also has to be fear that 'I will get caught'," Farhan added.

Trisha Will Be Honoured In SIIMA 2013

Kollywood queen Trisha Krishnan, will be honoured in South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2013. 

Latest buzz says that Trisha will be honoured for her contribution to South Indian cinema for a decade long career. The event is scheduled to take place in UAE, on September 12 and 13.

Adam Lambert, Justin Timberlake defends Miley Cyrus

Singer Adam Lambert has defended pop star Miley Cyrus' racy performance on the track "Blurred lines" with Robin Thicke at a recent music awards show.

Speaking about Cyrus' performance at the MTV Video Music Awards, which was held in New York Aug 25, Lambert tweeted, "And listen if it wasn't your cup of tea - all good but why is everyone spazzing? Hey - she's doing something right. We all talking."

Apart from Lambert, Miley Cyrus has found one more supporter following her shocking Video Music Awards performance: Justin Timberlake. While Timberlake provided the night's most talked-about performances, Cyrus was criticised for her her racy spectacle.

During an interview on Fresh 102.7, Timberlake said, " It's the VMAs,what did you guys expect?" He further added that he liked Cyrus "a lot" and attests that "she's young. She's letting everybody know that she's growing up." The singer also went on to say, "I just think it's the VMAs. It's not like she did it at the Grammys. Let her do her thing, you know?"

Gauhar Khan Contesting In Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 7?

If sources are to be believed, Bollywood actress Gauhar Khan will be one among the 14 contestants to be locked in the Bigg Boss house for the seventh season of the reality show. 

Gauhar, who has acted in two big projects of Yash Raj banner - Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year and Ishaqzaade, has also won accolades for her scintillating dance moves in item numbers like 'Parda' and 'Hua chokra jawan re'. 

This won't be her first stint with a reality show. She was a contestant in the celebrity dance show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 3 and appeared on The Khan Sisters, the Indian version of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, along with her sister, actress Nigaar Khan. 

Hosted by actor Salman Khan, for the fourth time in a row, Bigg Boss - Saath 7 is based on the theme of heaven and hell. 

Though the list of contestants for the new season is yet to be announced, some names that have come up are of TV actors like Pratyusha Banerjee, Gurdeep Kohli, Kushal Tandon and Vatsal Seth.

Kannada actress Ramya aka Divya Spandana, who has recently won the by-election for the Lokh Sabha from Mandya Constituency, has all thanks for the people those voted her and made her big winner. The golden girl of Sandalwood says that this victory is for her father RT Narayan, who suffered a massive heart attack and died as she was talking to media soon after the filing on August 2.

Ramya, who has often used as a strong tool to advocate her feelings, was not active on her Twitter page for nearly a month after she decided to contest the By-election. Soon after election results were announced On Saturday, the actress took to her Twitter page to thank voters. She wrote, "This victory is for my father, all the people who voted for me and for the congress party. Thank you for all your love and support."

The actress, who was last seen playing the female lead in Katari Veera Surasundarangi, has signed to do a few projects like Dil Ka Raja, Neer Dose, Aryanand Kodi Ramakrishna's untitled film. Actress Samantha recently announced her plans to auction her costumes to raise funds for the charity organisation Pratusha. She had even assured to get the film-related paraphernalia of other actors. The actress is at it now. She has managed to get a jacket and shirt that Superstar Mahesh Babu sported in his Blockbuster movie Dookudu. She herself has confirmed the news, besides posting the pictures of the clothes on her Twitter. 

Earlier, Samantha had tweeted that she would sell her garments to support Pratyusha. On August 8, she had tweeted, "(I) Will be planning an auction soon... Of garments worn by me at audio releases, award functions and from my films.. Further details soon. Proceeds go to pratyusha.... Ur involvement will be much appreciated..." 

The actress, who is currently busy shooting for Ramayya Vasthavayya, had even confirmed about getting clothes from other stars for the same. Chiranjeevi Owes Us 150th Film: Puri Jagannadh

Actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi, who is the Union Minister for Tourism, turned 58 on Thursday, August 22. All Mega fans are eagerly waiting for him to comeback to big screen with his 150th movie. Tollywood filmmaker Puri Jagannadh says that actor owes one more film to his fans. 

Puri Jagannadh took to his Twitter page to wish Chiranjeevi. The director wrote, "Long live MEGA STAR happy birthday Mee cinemalu choostu perigamu. Kani meeru maaku oka cinema bakipaddaru. Adi eppudu (We grew up watching your films, but you owe us one film. When will you repay?)"

 Chiranjeevi, who was last seen in the 2009 Telugu film Magadheera in a cameo alongside his son Ram Charan Teja, has not done any movie after entering politics by launching the Praja Rajyam Party. Chiru, as he is fondly called, has acted in 149 films including Tamil, Kannada and Hindi in a career spanning over three decades. Some of his best films include Khaidi, Swayam Krushi, Indra and Shankar Dada MBBS.
